I looked at my companions for a while and it looks like the barrier I made for them is working well.
Looking back, the barrier I made before were made while I’m slightly confused.
When I realized that, I was worried that the barrier would break but it seems like it was working fine.

But this time, Koa has fallen deep into depression.
She seemed to be really shocked for trying to attack me.
I guess it can’t be helped since she was being induced by something.
Chai is always with her so she should be okay but it might take a while for her to recover.
Even so, there’s something hidden in the forest….and that something has that kind of effect.
I tried to scan the entire forest using magic several times but I couldn’t grasp the magic power that caused that incident.
It should be highly concealed.
I’ll have to find it as soon as possible.

I never thought that Koa would still be like that after 10 days.
The sight of Koa shrinking as soon as she saw me was most excruciating.
I’ll definitely find out the cause.

I turned my gaze to the forest.
I’ve been thinking about it for the past few days but I still can’t deal with the large number of induced monsters.
It’s almost like mind control….or even brainwashing.
Maa, either way, I have to do something about it before it takes control of the entire forest.
I can’t protect all creatures of the forest with barriers.
The best thing I could do is to identify the source of that inducement and destroy or seal it but I can’t even detect the strange magical power.
Last night, I cast a search spell on the forest to see if I could use it to investigate but I couldn’t find anything.
Since we don’t know the source of the problem, we have to look for other methods….
Hmm, I think I have a good idea.
When I made the barrier that absorbs that inducing magic, I imagined it in some way.
I should be able to figure out something since I managed to make a magic that absorbs it, right?
That barrier.
I should still have it on me, right?
When I close my eyes and try to feel the barrier, I notice that there’s a high concentration of magic membrane around me.
「Amazing, so this is the barrier?」
The membrane enveloping my body is moving along with my body.
I’m a bit surprised.
This is amazing.
I should look for the absorbed inducing magic.
I should look for something different from this magic membrane.
As I examined the magic membrane, I was able to see a lot of small, really small, different kind of magical power.
They were around 2mm big.
….is this it?
Can such small things affect your thoughts and feelings?
I tried to collect those small magical powers but I don’t feel anything.
Perhaps because it’s so small that I don’t feel uncomfortable.
Is this really the cause?
I examined the magic membrane again but I couldn’t find any problem except for the small magical power in front of me.
And in that short period of time, magical power of that size was absorbed again.
Is it designed to act like dust?
The magical power entering someone in such a small size won’t feel like foreign object. Then, they will accumulate and affect us.
Is that what’s happening?
Thinking about it, that explained how my anxiety gradually increased and even my character has changed without me noticing it.
Reducing magical power to the point it doesn’t feel foreign.
Whoever thought of it really has evil intentions.
However, I’m sure now that the cause is these small foreign objects.
The question is how to deal with it.
The forest is probably infested with this already.
I wan to purge this little foreign object from the whole forest.
No, I think I’ll gather them.
If I gather more, I should be able to recognize it clearly.

I close my eyes and imagine a membrane of magical power covering the whole forest.
I imagine the membrane catching small foreign objects as it covers the whole forest.
I imagine the small foreign object floating in the air being captured.
The small foreign objects affecting monsters and animals in the forest too.
I don’t know how many of them are there but some of them should be already under its control.
If we can get the foreign objects that are inducing them from their bodies, they would probably be freed.
Use the membrane to capture the small foreign objects inside the monsters or animals and create a solid image of them being taken off from their bodies.
This image should be done with great attention to detail so that no foreign object would be left inside their bodies with the help of the membrane.
Imagine capturing foreign objects through the membrane in plants, flowers, fruits, and water of the forest and finally, in the ground.
I managed to do it.
What should I do with the things I collected?
Since it should already be floating around the entire forest for some time, that should be a lot, right?
I think the safest thing to do is to use the membrane as it is and lock them up.
I’d like to check it out so I’ll put a spell on it so that it won’t react to anything other than my magic….and it should be hardened like a stone.
I’ll turn it into a black stone to distinguish it from other stones.

It should be simple enough.
I put some magical power to the image in my mind.
「Catch foreign object」
The whole forest is glowing….isn’t this a little intense?

I covered my eyes with my arms because the light covering the forest was too bright and unfortunately, my body fell back.
I fell on my butt….and it hurts….
When I was writhing in pain, I could feel an enormous amount of something leaving my body.
Is this magical power?
Uwaaaa, amazing!
It feels like my body will be emptied….is this alright?
I was a little worried but when the light of the forest disappeared, the magical power leaving my body calmed down.
As expected, I feel exhausted.
This is the first time I’ve ever felt my magical power dwindle to such an extent.
I felt some gazes so I looked around….my companions were gathering while looking at me anxiously.
「It’s okay, my magical power is recovering.」
I can feel magical power being replenished in my body at a great rate.
Speaking of which, what will happen when I exhaust all of my magical power?
…..I’m not going to die, right?
