When I dealt with the thugs in Gartland, I was able to put them to sleep because it was a surprise attack. That’s good but if I were to go head to head….I should still be safe with the help of my plant magic. However, if it turns out to be close combat, well, I’m not confident with my physical ability.

「You’ve planted spring berries in my field, right? I don’t want you to plant strange things in my field without permission….do you understand?」

If it were a monster, it would have to be an exceptionally intelligent species to be able to communicate verbally.

As I held my stick up to the rock, I heard a mosquito-like voice.

「………uh, ah.」

The voice was too thin and it sounded like a buzz.

However, it’s definitely a girl’s voice.

「Answer me. How can you lay your hands on someone’s field without permission….」

Fearfully, I took a step forward.

There was a big flower blooming behind the rock.

「ah, uwaaa, sc…….scary, human…….are you?」

The flower turned around.

It turned around and talked.

「Eh?………a girl?」

Slumped behind a rock was a girl.

Pink hair.

I thought it was a flower but it was a hair ornament.

No, it’s not.

「…..are the flowers in your hair?」

The pink hair was loosely braided by plant vine.

There are also white flowers on it in full bloom.

Those are not hair ornaments but real flowers.

Amazingly cute.

She’s a beautiful girl, the perfect example of “a girl as pretty as a flower” in a literal sense.

「…..Navi, wake up.」

When I called, a white artificial spirit, Navi, gently appeared in the air.

「—rebooting, complete」

The beautiful flower-like girl blinks her big eyes. Her eye color is of a young leaf.

Pink hair, leaf-colored eyes.

I’m almost certain but, just in case.

「I’d like an appraisal….tell me this girl’s race.」

「Affirmative, master.」

Without a pause, Navi begins her appraisal by magic.

The result of the appraisal of my reliable partner was as I expected.

「—estimated age, 14 years old in terms of human age. Height, weight, and three sizes will be a matter of secret given she’s a maiden. The race is determined to be a flowerkin.」

「Flowerkin!」
