After the public recording is over, there is a special live broadcast participant only benefits.
Live corner.
Although only a few songs will be sung, I’m sure this is what many of the audience are waiting for.
When the podium was ready, Reizen-san came to the stage.
At the same time, the audience all stood up from their chairs.
Yui looked around and stood up late.
Incidentally, Yui’s back was radiating tremendous pressure toward me all throughout the public recording.
When we go back, I’m kind of nervous about what she’s going to say to me.
「Let’s start with “I Wish I was a Zombie!”.」
Reizen-san raised her fist in the air and at the same time, the venue lit up with colorful psyllium.
For a while from here, psylliums have been the main source of illumination at live concerts.
It would be a little while before high luminance type psylliums were used at the climax of the show and battery power penlights with color switching capabilities would become more common.

The live performance was a lot of fun.
Yui was confused at first but around the second song, she was jumping up and down in sync with everyone around.
As she raised her bare hands in the air, the audience next to her gave her a psyllium.
It was nice to see that the touch of kindness and nosiness of my fellow otakus is the same no matter what era it is.

And so, the event came to an end.
The audience was about to leave but Yui did not move from her seat.
When most of the guests had left, she turned her hand to me and say,
「It was about my friend!」
Yui insisted as her voice turned inside out.
「Y-yeah」
「It’s true!?」
「Under stood. Why did you not only send a postcard but even come here?」
「I got in touch with her, albeit a little, so I went to……I was curious to know how she was doing after that so I decided to listen to her radio program. Then, I thought there might be a chance to see her face to face so I joined and won……I had no idea that this place would be this energetic. What about Kazu?」
「I’m like you.」
I had been listening to the radio program even before the host was replaced by Reizen-san.

When I got up to leave the venue, a staff approached me.
「Excuse me. You are Nanba Kazu and your companion, right? Reizen-san would like you to come to her dressing room if you don’t mind.」
The staff’s unexpected request made me and Yui nod in agreement.

This is my first time in a dressing room but it was just a normal small room.
「Sorry for calling you here. I just wanted to talk to you a little since it’s been a while.」
Reizen-san stood up and seemed more relaxed than when she was on stage.
This is the Reizen-san I know.
「It’s been a while.」
Yui bowed after me.
It’s not like the two of us had much contact with her.
「Sorry. I wanted to apologize in case I interfered with your relationship.」
Despite her words, Reizen-san looked at me and Yui and smiled.
「T-that’s about my friend.」
She’s saying that again.
「I’m sure it is. Then……」
Reizen-san came up next to me and hugged my arm.
「You don’t mind if I borrow him, right? He seems to have a nice body.」
The volume is not as much as Yui’s but I can firmly feel the softness in my arm.
The beating of her heart is being transmitted at the place her chest is touching.
「I never said I didn’t like him.」
With an icy smile, Yui takes my opposite arm.
「Ara? Sorry, I was just trying to get him as my bodyguard.」
With a chuckle, Reizen-san quickly released my arm.
「I hope this means I don’t owe you anything from earlier.」
The debt would be the reading of Yui’s postcard in front of me earlier even though Yui doesn’t have that intention.
I don’t know if Yui thinks she owes her that.
I guess Reizen-san wants to say that she broke the ice between us.
「Eh? Ah……」
Yui, whose face turned red, also moved away from me.
I’m surprised she’s acting shy in this situation even though she usually sticks close to me.
「If you get a grip of him, he might really get taken away. It is a very common situation in dramas and anime to fall in love with someone while consulting over the phone. Areh?」
Reizen-san smiled mischievously as I heard her mumble “what do you think he’s consulting me with?”.
「Don’t worry, Kazu and I will always be together!」
Yui tried to pull me out of the dressing room.
「Then, Reizen-san, I’ll be rooting for you.」
I said my goodbye to Reizen-san.
「Thank you for coming today. Let’s play in private next time~」
「I’ll play with you too!」
Yui didn’t say that she will not let me play with her.
Perhaps she sensed Reizen-san’s somewhat lonely atmosphere even if she looks pouty and angry.
「I’d love that. Please do so desu yo.」
「Kuh~! Some other time!」
To make Yui like this, she is indeed someone who’s been in the industry for a long time.
「Kazu! From now on, we’ll listen to Reizen-san’s radio program together!」
I don’t know how she came to that conclusion but I had no reason to refuse.
Isn’t it great to listen to a late night radio program with a beautiful childhood friend?
