We left before eleven and reached the town of Misrim in less than twenty minutes. But honestly, I do not know much about Misrim.
「Mishinie, do you know Misrim well?」
「Not that well, but if you want big shops, the East Street is the place」
So, guided by Mishinie, we headed for East Street.
Sure enough, large shops lined the road, and it was about five meters wide. Since it was the road leading to the royal capital, there were quite a few warehouses as well.
The last time I came, I was in the area where commoners lived, so I did not realize it, but Misrim was a pretty big town. And there were a lot of shops. Does Margrave Koraus Territory really have that much business going on?

「Welcome. My name is Royce, and I am entrusted with managing the Misrim branch. My master asked me to convey his apologies for the trouble caused」
So he was the branch manager. Top-tier merchants really keep their reporting and communication in order.
「No, please tell him not to worry. I only came to buy cloth today」
「I see. Thank you very much. Please, come inside」
He invited us in. The interior was larger than the shop in the Second Wall District, and there was a wide variety of goods.
We were shown to what looked like a salon area and served tea. As always, it was delicious tea.
「Cloth suitable for undergarments, for about five silver coins’ worth. And if you have thread as well, could you include that?」
「Yes. I will prepare it right away」
He gave instructions to a female employee, and they began gathering the requested items.
「Royce-san, do you also handle leather goods here?」

「Yes. I recently established a goblin extermination guild, and I am thinking of buying uniforms and leather belts for them. But I know nothing about clothing or leather goods, so I wanted to see what was available」
There is the idea of skimming profits by hiring young adventurers as contractors. But more importantly, this is insurance. In case I am ever unable to continue goblin extermination myself, I want to prepare people who can earn money here in my place. I want to start laying the groundwork for that now.

He asked to see it, so I showed him the clothes I was wearing. Then women who looked like seamstresses and an elderly man with the air of a master craftsman came out. I was not stripped completely bare, but they practically undressed me as they began closely examining my clothes.

Well, they are products of the twenty-first century. To people here, they must look like strange artifacts.
「I am not asking for this level of quality. Ordinary clothing that people commonly wear will be fine」
If I went for high quality, who knows how much it would cost. What I want are standard items for ordinary people.
「There is no rush, so could you first make prototypes of socks and undergarments? For the undergarments, please prepare large, medium, and small sizes. Versions made by skilled hands and by less skilled ones. For the lower garments, some that reach the knees, and some that reach the thighs」
You can never have too many socks and undergarments. When they wear out, they can even be used for cleaning guns. Well, I would rather not use underwear for that, though.
「It would also be good to have women’s versions. I will bring some samples」
I stood up, returned home, and brought back brand-new underwear I had stocked for Ladarion. I also brought some of my own.

I put down one gold coin as funds for the prototypes.

Since he refused to accept it, I decided to accept Royce-san’s offer.

I put my clothes back on, then carried the prepared fabric and thread back to my home.

After saying goodbye to Royce-san and the others, I got into the Pioneer and headed down the road toward the capital.
「Where are we going?」
「I sensed some goblins, so I thought I would earn a little pocket money」
About one kilometer away? There were around sixty goblins gathered together. With just Mishinie and me, it would not even take thirty minutes.
「That sounds good. You will let me handle it, of course?」
「Fine」
Well, even if I do nothing, I will earn close to one hundred thousand yen, so I cannot complain. Please do your best for my pocket money.
We moved closer, parked the Pioneer, and I pointed out the direction of the goblins to Mishinie.
「I will prepare lunch here」
「Yeah. I will go earn some money」
She slipped into the forest, and in less than three minutes, the presence of the goblins vanished.

Their presence was disappearing second by second.
At this rate, she would wipe them out in less than ten minutes, so I hurriedly began preparing lunch.
