We left Pioneer One in front of the mansion in case something happened, and decided to head for the town of Mars using the Wolverine and the KLX230.

We arrived at the town of Mars in about thirty minutes. I stored the Wolverine and KLX inside Home.
Since Miroid Fort was half a day away, we traveled light and decided to go equipped with Benelli M4s.

A pack of around thirty was very close to the town. What was going on?

「That direction. Less than a hundred steps away, gathered together. Are they sleeping?」
Their presence felt faint. Rather than hiding themselves, it felt more like they were asleep.

That giant body vanished soundlessly among the trees, and soon after, gunshots thundered out. No, using a Desert Eagle on goblins was overkill. The bullets were not cheap either…
「I killed them all. Any others?」

Well, if his dream was to slay a dragon, I had no intention of denying it. It had nothing to do with me. Let him challenge it however he liked.

We entered the road leading to Miroid Fort and continued on.
Azur Rise’s motivation never faded, and by ten o’clock he had already exterminated nearly a hundred goblins.
We took a break near a stream.

The fort was still more than ten kilometers away. I could only faintly sense Ladarion and the others, but I could tell goblin presences were gathering there. There were a lot of them.
I retrieved Desert Eagle rounds, had Mebi keep watch, and loaded the magazines.
「Wouldn’t it be better to just kill goblins normally with a sword?」
Azur Rise could probably kill them barehanded. If it were me, I’d be turned into minced meat in one hit.

Having someone stay in Home really did make things easier.
