Cyrus-san knew about Count Ashikka’s territory, so I had him tell me about that as well. We would be passing through the capital of Count Ashikka’s lands.
I wrote the information in a sketchbook and also recorded it in this world’s script. I wanted the people staying behind to know it too.
「Is Marquis Koraus connected to Count Ashikka?」
「No. They belong to different factions. I only know the usual public information. Adventurers do not go there either」
Five days by carriage. At thirty kilometers a day, that made around one hundred fifty kilometers. In this era, that was not a casual trip.
「It is a small territory. Even its capital is smaller than Rihar Town. It feels more like the frontier over there」
「Mishinie, have you been there before?」
「Long ago」
That was all she said. Long ago? How long ago was that? It did not feel like something I should ask. Maybe answering would reveal her age.
「Is it a place where an elf can go safely?」

「Are you heading somewhere?」
「Yes. We’re going to a forest called Mysenz, bordering Count Ashikka’s territory」

「Where is Count Ashikka’s territory?」
「You head through the neighboring Meyer Barony, then pass Mizia and Rock, and beyond that lies Count Ashikka’s territory. I only heard the route myself, so I can’t explain exactly where it is」
Not having maps was truly a pain.
「If you’re going to Meyer Barony, you should stop by the magic stone shop. They have all kinds of magic stones there, and I hear they offer good prices when buying too」

「There isn’t one in Koraus?」

「Will you be staying in Lasagna Village through the winter?」
「Yes. If I opened a shop and then closed it, I’d lose all standing」
「Then please handle any liquor orders from the Adventurers Guild master, Lloyd Masterg-san. Also tell him I’m sorry I won’t be able to come drink with him」
「Ah. So, Lloyd-sama has already become guild master. Then I’ll pass it along while paying my respects」
「Thank you. I’ll treat you to a bottle」
「No, thank you. The liquor you sell is delicious. It’s my daily pleasure」
Since he liked wine, I gave him a two-thousand-yen bottle.
「Takato. I’ll be heading out for a while. I need around two hundred Desert Eagle rounds」
Next, Azur Rise showed up. Preparations were not getting done at all.
「Sure. Going somewhere far?」
「Yes. I’m heading to Miroid Fort. There still seem to be goblins there」
So they had not exterminated them all? Well, once winter came, food would run out. If they scattered processed meat there, goblins would gather.
「Then take fifty Barrett rounds too. The Barrett’s range is around two thousand paces. If you can blow goblins away from that distance, you should be able to hit a dragon’s eye」
Even a dragon’s eye should not be that durable. Even if he could not kill it, taking its vision would be enough. Better to practice now.
「Understood. I’ll try it」

I handed him the Barrett rounds and started loading cargo into the trailer.
「Takato. The Wolverine is ready, so we’re heading out」

Kainzel-san, who had been to Meyer Barony before, along with Raigo, would go ahead first and gather information on the road from Meyer Barony to Mizia.

「Understood. When you reach Meyer Barony, we’ll come meet you. Wait in front of the gate」
Apparently, entering the capital of Meyer Barony required paying one large copper coin, and there was a plaza in front of the gate for merchant caravans.
After seeing Kainzel-san and Raigo off, I resumed loading the cargo.
