After mediating between Amilia and Natalia-san, I went with Marian to visit the Heroes.
「Yo, long time no see.」
I raised one hand in greeting. All three of them lit up.
「Yuuki-san!」
「Master!!」
「Yuuki-sama!」
「You guys look tired. How are you feeling?」
All three seemed to be in good shape with no major injuries.
「Well… what I really want is a proper bath.」
「We’ve been wiping ourselves with hot water, but there’s a limit to that…」
「Yeah. Once you’ve experienced a real modern bath, this feels way too rough.」
「I’ll make a bath for you right now. Go ahead and use it once it’s ready.」
「Nice!」「Yeah!」「Thank you, God!!」

After creating the bath, I started preparing a meal while the Heroes were washing up. Most of it was preserved food though.
I placed meat on a stove and grill I had made with 『Extraction』 and 『Forming』. The smell of meat sizzling over charcoal stimulated the appetite.
「Ugh… yakiniku… this makes me crave white rice…」
「Rice? Matoi, are you Japanese?」
「Yeah! Though it seems like a different world from mine. In my world, there wasn’t anyone like the real deal Yuuki-san.」
「Same here! There wasn’t anyone like that in my world either! And there’s no country called Japan…」
「In my world as well. I learned that Earth was the name of a planet that was destroyed several thousand years ago.」
It seemed everyone except Caleb was from Earth. Since I had received translation magic in this world, I had never really paid attention to the fact that we could all speak Japanese together.
「I summoned all of you from different dimensional worlds to avoid causing any paradoxes.」
「I see.」
「That makes sense. Sharing advanced knowledge too early can accelerate the collapse of civilization…」
「Ehh～ I want to know though～」
「Well, things like food and daily life should be fine. But the energy technology from Caleb-san’s world would destroy the planet if used in the other three worlds.」
It’s that dangerous…? Future technology is scary…
「Since we have the chance, shall I talk about the food situation in my world…?」
「Yay!」
「For now… if you have rice, can I have some?」
「Ah, sorry sorry. Here’s the rice. There’s plenty, so eat as much as you want.」
I took out the earthen pot I had cooked earlier and scooped some rice. When I placed it in front of Matoi, his eyes sparkled.
「Sorry about this… Itadakimasu!!」
He stuffed the white rice into his mouth and shed tears. Yeah, I get it. I cried the first time I ate white rice in this other world too.
「Hey! Caleb-san! You can’t talk about that!! It’s a restricted matter!!」
「So good…」
Seeing them enjoy themselves so much, I continued grilling the meat with a smile.

After the strategy meeting about tomorrow’s plans with the three Heroes, I parted ways with them. I also left behind a few of those questionable books I had forgotten to throw out during the move. David was extremely interested and it nearly turned into an argument…
「Well then, Yuuki-san. Tomorrow, just as planned.」
「Yeah, I’m counting on you.」
「Yes!」
After exchanging those words, I parted with Marian and returned to everyone. They had just finished dinner and were discussing tomorrow’s matters.
「Sorry to keep you waiting」
「Welcome back, Yuuki.」
「Welcome back, Yuuki-sama.」
「Welcome back, Yuuki-san!」
「Welcome back, Master.」
「Sorry I’m late. Have you eaten dinner?」
「We already have.」
「I see. Sorry, I was planning to eat with you, but the talk dragged on.」
「It’s fine. Besides, the Heroes have been diving into the dungeon nonstop, right? That must be much harder.」
「Yeah. They don’t even have a proper bath… and the food…」
「Ah, I’ve been having Marian deliver relatively fresh meals to them.」
「As expected of a god.」
「Well then, as an apology…」
I brought out the dessert I had made while everyone was eating earlier. When I opened the tightly sealed, ice-cold container, pure white dessert appeared.
「Yuuki-sama, what is this?」
「It smells sweet～」
「Is it a snack?」
「But it looks firmer than pudding.」
「Croco, if you’re here, come out.」
When I called, Croco slipped out from the shadows. Her outfit had somehow become even more assassin-like.
「How is it! I made this in my spare time!」
「Ta-da!」
「Yeah, it looks good on you. Thanks, Shia.」
When I patted her head, Shia’s ears turned red. Lately her cute embarrassed reaction when I pat her head has been nice.
「Now then… we should eat it before it melts.」
I scooped some with a spoon and shaped it nicely, then handed a portion to everyone.
「Eat it quickly before it melts!」
「Melts? Is it like the shaved ice from before?」
「Nnnnnn!? It’s delicious!! Yuuki-san!!」
「It really is… so good… I want to make this for Rena when we get back.」
「It’s delicious!」
「Mmm!! Mmm!!」
Everyone’s eyes widened at the sweetness and coldness. Croco was eating it at an incredible speed.
「Croco, if you eat too fast your stomach will get cold.」
「But if I eat slowly it will melt…」
「Ice cream tastes good a little melted too.」
「Is that so! Aisu?」
「Yeah, this is the ice cream I mentioned before.」
Croco’s eyes sparkled.
「So this is… ice cream!!」
「I’m glad you like it, Croco-chan.」
「She was happy with the shaved ice last time too. She really loves cold things.」
「It’s delicious! I like this even more than shaved ice!!」
「Indeed. It would probably be great on top of scones or pancakes…」

「Hey, Yuuki…」
「Yuuki-sama…」
「Yuuki-san…」
「Master…」
「Yuuki onii-chan…」
Everyone’s eyes turned toward me at once. Cold sweat ran down my back… I hadn’t prepared any…
「Um… should I make some?」

In the end, I ended up baking hotcakes until late into the night.
