To search for the missing Claudia-san, we said our farewells to Zenon-sama and left the Blaffer family estate.
However, for some reason, I was called back just before we left.

「For Charlotte. The reason she has become so cheerful is because of you all. I truly appreciate it.」
「I… I didn’t do anything special.」
「Please continue to look out for Charlotte. If you ever find yourself in trouble, don’t hesitate to ask. The Blaffer family will always support you.」

After a firm handshake, I returned to the others.
「What did you talk about with your father?」
「He told me to look after Charlotte.」
「Huh?」
Kiara was the first to react.
At that, Charlotte’s expression quickly darkened.
「So, that means father approves of our relationship, doesn’t it?」
「Huh? He meant to take care of you in the dungeon farm, right?」
「Ara area, Kiara, that’s not very flattering.」
「If we’re talking about official approval, my mom’s on board too! Besides, you’re way behind on this!」
「What!? That’s not fair!」
A battle of words had begun.
Those two never change.

「Earlier, you said you had a lead on Claudia’s whereabouts. Do you really have an idea where she is?」
「I can’t say for sure, but… I think there’s a strong possibility.」

The others were eager to prepare for the journey, leaving only Kiara and Charlotte to continue their back-and-forth. Eventually, the two of them realized they were being left out and hurriedly joined the group.
Well, as the saying goes, they’re so close that they fight like siblings. It was probably just their way of showing affection.
