「Uwaaaahhhhhh!!」
「Help meeeee!!」
Soldiers were torn from the ground and sucked into the psychokinetic black hole.
Everything caught in its pull was crushed under extreme pressure, being compressed into a sphere.
Rocks and trees shattered, turning into mere debris.
Beasts and humans—
Blood sprayed as their bodies were reduced to chunks of flesh.
The mass continued to shrink and condense, slowly taking the shape of a perfect sphere.
…Eventually—
The black hole dissipated.
And in the sky, a one-meter-wide orb floated.
Every soldier, save for the Knight Commander, was dead.
Their corpses had been compressed into this floating sphere.
With my Psychokinesis, I slowly lowered it—
Then let it hover over my palm.
A sphere formed from humans, beasts, trees, rocks, and flowers, all fused together.
Its surface was a chaotic swirl of colors, like marbled stone—except grotesquely organic.
「A… Aahh…」
The Knight Commander collapsed onto the ground.
「…We can’t win… We can’t win against… a monster like this…」
Losing his entire battalion in an instant had finally made him understand the power gap.
His face was frozen in pure terror.
I’d put him out of his misery soon enough.
「Sleep.」
I activated Psychokinesis once more.
The Knight Commander’s body began to compress.
「A—AGHAAAAAHHHHHH!!?」
His agonized screams filled the air—
Until finally, his body collapsed in on itself, crushed beyond its limits.
And so, the entire knight battalion was exterminated—not a single survivor.
Silence blanketed the battlefield.
(…In hindsight, I should have left their item bags intact.)
I reflected on my mistake.
By turning all of them into a single sphere, their equipment and loot were lost as well.
The only salvageable prize was the Knight Commander’s item bag—the only thing I killed separately.
(Well, he probably had the best gear anyway. Better than nothing.)
Using Psychokinesis, I stripped the Knight Commander’s item bag from his crushed remains.
His weapons and armor, however, had been destroyed by the compression, making them irretrievable.
「This sphere shouldn’t be left where anyone can find it.」
I decided to bury it.
With Psychokinesis, I pressed it down into the earth.
Even as it sank beneath the soil, I continued pushing it deeper and deeper.
Finally, at a depth of 50 meters, I halted my ability.
「At this depth, no one will ever dig it up.」
Satisfied, I set off once more.
